About WarDogs Portal

An independent community site about the economy of WARDOGS: what gear costs, what losing it costs, and what to dial on the gun.

Why this site exists

WARDOGS hands you $10,000 once, and your gear is gone when you die. That makes the interesting question not “what does this rifle cost” but “what does an evening of bad luck cost”. Most sites publish a price list; we would rather publish the arithmetic around it — what a loadout leaves in the balance, how many rides you can lose before the money runs out, and what the mortar needs to be dialled to.

Where the numbers come from

BULKHEAD publishes no figures, so every number here is measured by players — including by us — and every page says which. Prices are read from the in-game vendor and cross-checked against community records. The L81 and SPH-2 firing tables come from an open-source project and are credited on the calculator, with its licence reprinted in full.

Two rules keep us honest. Nothing is invented: if a figure has no source, it does not go on the page. Disagreement is shown, not hidden: where two community sources conflict — the L81's maximum range is the current example, 684 m against 3.1 km — the page says so and tells you what is still unknown, rather than quietly picking one.

Early access moves. A patch can change a price or a table overnight, so every data page carries the date it was last checked. If something no longer matches your game, that is worth an email.

Who runs it

WarDogs Portal is an independent community project, run by one person and written under the site's name rather than a personal one. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to BULKHEAD or Team17, and it sells nothing. Write to hello@wardogsportal.comwhat is useful to send.
